Nickel austenitic irons – Niresist

Reference standards:

Austenitic irons with a high nickel content (18–36%) featuring a structure that is stable at room temperature, giving them no ductile-brittle transition, low thermal stresses, good corrosion resistance and dimensional stability over a wide temperature range.
The spheroidal variants (ASTM A 439) withstand operating temperatures up to 850°C; the lamellar variants (ASTM A 436) are suited to corrosive liquids.
Applications: compressor stators, high-performance manifolds, pumps for aggressive fluids.
